You don’t need to be a rocket scientist to realize that the Big Boobs Landscape is not what it used to be 10 years ago. The world has changed, so has fans and the business for big boobs models. Bear with me in this post and understand what has gone wrong. What can we expect for the future? Let’s take a look at the Golden Age, the Tube Sites Effect, The Current State and Whats’s the future.
Back when a beloved solo girl would jump into hardcore
1. The Golden Age of Big Boobs Porn
From the mid 2000’s until 2012 the big boobs scene was filled with amazing larger than life busty models. It was a great period of time to be a big boob fan. It was hard to pick one favorite. Imagine if all those girls would have had a Chaturate, Onlyfans or Manyvids. Those girls would have not had to put up with backstage politics or scared away from the adult business because they could have had options to make money by themselves. Most of the best busty models and pornstars were active in those years; in their primes. A list of legends follows: Merilyn Sakova, Tanya Song, Karina Hart, Jana Defi, Ewa Sonnet, Faith Nelson, Christy Marks, Gianna Michaels, Sara Stone, Jenna Doll, Ines Cudna, Ala Passtel, Hannah Hilton, Ashley Robbins, Veronica Zemanova, Erica Rose Campbell, Aria Giovanni among others. Even Yulia Nova content was being discovered. Even Denise Milani was turning the world upside down. Unfortunately all of those girls left the adult business without making the $$$ they thought they would make and moved on with their lives. That generation had so many amazing girls that some of the top stars in the past few years were not main players in the big boobs game: Hitomi Tanaka, Sensual Jane, Katerina Hartlova, Leanne Crow, etc. They were there, but there was so many busty talent around that it was an all-star team.
Down memory lane with Merilyn Sakova and Tanya Song
What happens now? No disrespect to the current busty models, but if we merge the current models with the Golden Age models probably a handful would be top stars. It is not because the girls now are not pretty, but because the Golden Age generation was so gifted. In addition, the way they were marketed is different than the way girls are presented to the audience and received y the fans.
2. The Tube Sites Effect
In 2007 Montreal-based company Mansef created PornHub. Techi Fabian Thylmann saw an opportunity and purchased the company then creating Manwin, which later became MindGeek. It destroyed the porn business allowing stolen content to be uploaded thus making money out of the advertisement. Many porn producers had to leave the business as they were not profitable anymore. The ones who stayed could barely sustain themselves going forward. The following interview by Joe Rogan will give your first-hand knowledge of what happened.
2.1 How did it affect Big Boobs Porn?
Believe it or not Big Boobs has been a niche that many fans and producers are not behind. Mind that Lucie Wilde was never considered to be a star. European producers and agents tend to pass on busty girls, who they see as not marketable enough.
So, the lack of work for busty models combined with the decrease in profits by porn sites ended up in either less work for busty models and a huge dive in the payscales.
Would Kandy Cole have stayed should she had gotten more money or Chaturbate would be around?
2.2. Are busty models over with mainstream porn fans
The ones on top of the food chain in porn are not busty models. If you take a look at the most mainstream pornstars of the last few years you would find: Riley Reid, Jada Stevens, Madison Ivy. Mia Kahlifa was over because of her background -and she had fake boobs-. Lana Rhodes and Kendra Sunderland have been marketed well, but they are not as busty ass our Golden Age girls. Yes reality is that big time producers do not care much about busty models. Angela White might be an exception. However, consider she has been around for years and had to move to the States to finally become a mainstream pornstar.
As a result of all that, busty models are just “gimmick girls” That is why supporting sites like Scoreland, ddfbusty, XX-cel, Yesboobs, Pinupfiles etc is vital for the survival of the big boobs niche.

2.3. Why would busty models of today do not jump into porn or even topless?
I wrote a post months ago about the Big Boobs Third Wave. It was very hopeful; however, nothing has changed since then. To me and many fans these girls were destined to takeover our Big Boobs World : Asiri Stone, Kissmefirst, Bella Roux, Katelovelyy, Sabrina Nichole, Rose taylor. What happened? Why would these busty models would not jump into porn? The answer comes in the next paragraph.
Many girls on that list were approached by adult sites, however, let’s take an hypothetical example to illustrate what happens:
let’s take Asiri Stone in this hypothetical example: Bangbros would pay her $700 to get fucked hard and get sticky cum on her face by a virtual unknown. She would have to go to LA and spend between 8-12 hours on set and then travel back home. Previous to the shoot she would have had to spend $250 (paid every 15 days) for a health test as per industry requirements to prevent ETS transmission. So basially the model would make $500 in 12-14 hours. In contrast she could make the same amount of money in almost half of the time from the comfort of her bed controlling what goes on with her body.
You may say, oh but porn pays $700 per scene -at best- so she could shoot 20 scenes a month and get $14,000 every month. If you did that calculation probably you think that if you have a store in your neighborhood every neighbor will buy everything from you. That is not real. That is what many porn rookies think before their first porn. Days later they realize that there is not so many legit porn companies and just a few pay $700 (before taxes). So thanks to the Tube Site Effect there is less money in porn, so girls don’t wanna do porn for just a few bucks, when they can do anything else and not get a cock for posterity on camera.

I want to illustrate you more about the state of porn sites. many of you think that producing porn is profitable. I get e-mails about guys who have big breasted GF’s and think they could make thousands of dollars just by creating a website. Nah, below some average numbers, which are just average based on traffic and conversion ratios. Note: the average considers low traffic sites and high traffic sites, excluding the “monster” sites.
- Average # of paying members – except big sites- 500
- Average monthly subscription: $30 (100%)
- Average fee for payment processor: 14%
- Average % paid to affiliate: 30%-50%
- Net margin from subscription: 54% ($16.2)X 500=$8,000
- Average shoot expense – excludes crew- (model +flight ticket+hotel +food)= $1,000 X4 models= 4,000
In addition the producer pays other fees which could go from marketing, legal, editors, crew, hosting, ).
Basically many producers have to have other businesses. Yet fans demand them to allow their content to be stolen.
On the model side, there is practically no adult model that make a good living out of modeling and porn. Either they have to bar-tend, work at offices, escort, or luckily enough just do webcam.
The next part of this post regarding The Current State and Whats’s the future comes in the second part on the weekend… along with the Katerina Hartlova update.
